Bright drawn flat bar in engineering steel grades — a wide range of width and thickness combinations. Wear strips, slideways, keys, brackets and general flat stock. Metric sizes. Cut to length from one piece.

Flat bar is bright drawn to a rectangular cross-section. It is specified for components where width significantly exceeds thickness — wear strips, slideways, keys, brackets, spacers and general flat stock. The bright drawn condition gives a clean surface and consistent dimensions.
EN8 flat bar is the most common specification for wear strips and slideway components in machine tools and general engineering. S355 hot-rolled flat bar is used for structural brackets, supports and fabricated assemblies.
