- Medical and dental device components
Key Benefits.
- Superior machinability over non-leaded 230M07
- Excellent surface finish on turned faces
- Higher cutting speeds — improved productivity
- Consistent chip breaking on automatic lathes
- Tight tolerances to BS EN 10278
Remarks & Guidance.
Poor weldability — welding must be avoided. Not intended for heat treatment but can be case hardened for improved wear resistance. REACH/RoHS: lead content means this grade is subject to REACH restrictions in certain applications — confirm suitability before specifying for regulated products. For the non-leaded equivalent see PS QA 001 (230M07).
