Our saws handle bar up to 600mm diameter, and our standard cutting tolerance of −0mm / +2mm covers the vast majority of engineering requirements — with tighter tolerances available where specified.
Our TSUNE high-speed circular blade saw is the fastest cutting machine on site — capable of processing appropriate sections at close to 8× the speed of a band saw. The automated bar feeder minimises downtime between cuts, making it the preferred choice for high-volume precision batches. The cut surface is so clean it often requires no further machining, reducing your total cost per piece.
Twelve band saws running on manned shifts to meet all cutting requirements. Band saws handle the widest range of sizes and profiles — from small bright bar through to heavy-section black rounds up to 600mm diameter. Their versatility makes them the backbone of our cut-to-length operation, covering both small one-off pieces and large production batches.
We cut bar up to 600mm diameter — a capability rarely matched at a single-site stockholder. Heavy-section black rounds for large shaft, axle and engineering applications are a speciality. All cuts are produced square and burr-free as standard. Large diameter sections are typically processed on our heavy-duty band saws.
Cutting capability begins at 10mm diameter. Bright bar, silver steel and key steel in small sections can all be cut to precise lengths with the same −0 / +2mm standard tolerance. Single pieces are as welcome as batch orders — we treat every job with the same care regardless of quantity.
Our standard sawing tolerance is −0mm / +2mm on cut length. This covers the vast majority of engineering and fabrication requirements and is maintained consistently across all 13 saws.
Tighter tolerances are available on request for precision applications. Please specify your requirement at the time of enquiry and we will confirm achievability and any lead time implications.
Standard turnaround from order to despatch is 2–3 working days. For urgent requirements, call our sales team — same-day and next-day cutting is often achievable for in-stock grades and sections.

Confirm your order and we allocate stock immediately and schedule the cutting run. For large batches we confirm the production slot and despatch date upfront.
Your bar is cut on the most appropriate saw for the section and grade, checked against your specification and bundled or boxed for despatch. Cut faces are square and burr-free. Material identification is preserved where possible.
Cut pieces leave on our own delivery vehicles — no third-party carrier uncertainty. Delivery confirmation and material test certificates provided where requested.
